Prime Minister of Dominica Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, stated that the country’s citizenship by investment programme is one of the most transparent in the industry. He mentioned visible development in the country using the CBI funds.
While speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, he announced that a delegation would visit the United Kingdom next week to discuss the CBI Programme with the UK home office. The two-day discussions will include a dialogue with the Foreign Commonwealth Office in the UK.
Prime Minister Skerrit stated that Dominica also plans to hold discussions in the first quarter of 2024 with the European Union Commission. He said discussions will be focused around to strengthen the CBI Programme of the country.
“We are ready to discuss their concerns and recommendations to strengthen the transparency, integrity, and security of the CBI Programme. We are very open to discussions,” he added.He also mentioned that some people are unaware of how Dominicans eat, sleep, or live, and instead of understanding that, they are writing stories about the programme.
